"Tell me, why are you here and what is it you’re trying to get back…"

You don’t remember how you got there, and you don’t really care. The important thing is you lost something very dear to you. Maybe it was the life of a friend, lover, family remember or maybe it was your own life. Whatever it is, you spill your entire story to this woman talking to you.

You feel safe with her, even if you can’t really see her past the bright exam light. You feel warm, even though your arms and legs are bound to the cold table. In the background, you can hear a distinct clicking and whirring sound, almost like you’re inside a giant clock.

You’re here to get a second chance. And you have to show you’re worth giving it to.

As soon as you finish recounting your story, you find yourself forgetting what it was you lost. The weight of the loss is still there in your chest, but there’s a hole there. You don’t know what you're desperately seeking, but you know there was something.

This is Paralethe, a memory loss murder game. Your character will find themselves waking up in a new room. They will remember having a conversation with someone about why they want another chance, but not remember who or what they are trying to regain. Just that it's important and there's a hollow ache where the person and/or memory should be.

They will also forget anyone who dies during the course of the game. They will forget them after the execution is over on the first week, but will see there's a body there and know that the person was voted as a culprit. Likewise, they will remember someone was murdered, but not remember the person. If they were close to someone who died, they will feel sorrow or a hole there where they should be, but can't recall the person.

During the second week, they will forget who died as soon as they are dead.

This game is a mock round. It will be running for two weeks to test out if I can mod a murder game and test a couple of mechanics. One of these is the memloss portion, while the other is something in the dead land.

Schedule
❁Monday: Weekly Mingle goes up at 9:00 AM PST (Noon EST).
❁Tuesday: Motive goes live at Noon Pst (3:00 PM EST)
❁Wednesday: Event. 3:00 PM PST (6:00 PM EST)*
❁Thursday: Murder.
❁Friday: Investigation. 3:00 PM PST (6:00 PM EST)
❁Saturday: Trial! 9:00 AM PST - 2:00 PM PST (Noon EST - 5:00 PM EST)
❁Sunday: Execution. It'll go up around Noon PST *
This is also when we pick a killer and victim.

The Dead might want to be around on Tuesdays and Thursday. Timing will depend on their availability!

FAQ
❁What characters can I app?
-You can app any character over the age of 12
-They have to be sentient and be able to communicate
-They should be mentally 12+
-No CRAUs or AUs
-No OCs at this time
-No duplicates unless they are from different canons and differ from each other.
(Like Catra from the 80's SHE-RA is a different character from Catra of the reboot. While Winnie the Pooh in the live action movie is similar to Winnie the Pooh from the cartoons and Kingdom Hearts.)

-If they are over a certain height, they will be shrunk down to normal height.
-Have enough canon to be applicable to a regular game
-Their series have been out for at least a month with an English release or translation available for others

❁Can I bring my pet?
Yes. Please shrink them down if they are bigger than a horse.

❁Summons?
You can have your summons, but they will be shrunk down and may be nerfed depending on their abilities.

❁Do they get the memories back?
If all goes well, then yes.

❁Do they need to catch the murderer?
No, they do not. They just have to try and do their best. They will get rewarded if they do well.

❁What happens on murder night?
Every night (not just murder night) there is a curfew and characters must be in bed. If they are caught outside of their rooms, they will be hit with a sleep spell and moved by one of the NPCs.
So your character will be knocked out or in their rooms.

❁Are powers going to be nerfed?
Game breaking powers will be nerfed.
Characters will keep their powers!

❁What if my character doesn't have a power?
They will be granted powers based on Final Fantasy to make things easier (About two to three spells each and maybe a summon).

❁Are Lum and Fyre mods?
Lum is a trial mod. Fyre is not a mod. Both Lum and Fyre do have power in the discord chat to assign roles in case Len needs to be shamed.
